What makes the White Hart great?

Here at the White Hart, we do our best to deliver what it takes to be at the heart of the community. Everybody that walks through our doors is made to feel welcome and our aim is for them to leave having had a great time. We are back into the Good Beer Guide after 40 years. We are so proud of that.

The majority of our ales are locally sourced, and we take pride in keeping our cellar clean, tidy and well stocked. We put on a range of different events to include jazz jam sessions and live bands, monthly sea shanty and quiz night – and offer a warm space on a Wednesday and Friday mornings.

We also offer freshly made pizza on Wednesday and Thursday evenings and Sunday brunch to coincide with the Sunday market. For the sports enthusiasts we have BT sports offering a wide range of televised sporting events. We have a pool table, board games, Ping-Pong, and Aunt Sally, as well as two function rooms for hire. So, plenty to do inside the pub and in the garden.

We have wonderful volunteers that help keep the pub running and would welcome more. If you would like to suggest anything that you would like to see in the pub, then please come in and say hello.
